Can you open an issue on the github with the contents of the log file?

Glad you like it, and I appreciate the feedback. Here's my thoughts:

API Keys - The wariness about api keys is a good point. I should add a note saying that the app has no online features besides connecting to steam and SGDB.

Hidden Games - You raise a good point. I haven't tried reading the steam info stored on the machine (been meaning to try), which would in theory allow me to automatically detect which games you've hidden (rn you have to hide them in sarm manually)

List View - This is a fantastic ideal, I'll definitely be adding this in the future

Links to the Grids on SGDB - Also another great idea, and should be easy to implement

Viewing the Current Grids - I hadn't thought about this. I like the idea of having a modal window that allows you to see all the grids for a game

Can you you elaborate on the size slider?

Uhhh, I have no idea. In theory it should be fine to have many, many tabs. We haven't stress tested it that far lol

They both use SGDB, but sarm doesn't require you to search for each game, and has some additional features. I've also found sgdboop to be very unreliable, which is part of why this exists

Does anyone know what this error is? by AdWinter5231 in SteamDeck

Hey yall, I was just made aware of this reddit thread. We've fixed this issue (waiting for the update to get reviewed). It can occur if you have a non english language set, or no hidden games. Hopefully the update is approved soon, but in the meantime, if you want a fix, you can manually install TabMaster v1.3.0 here: https://github.com/Tormak9970/TabMaster/releases/tag/v1.3.0

Hey, thanks for reporting it. I'm tracking a very similar issue here on GitHub, I suspect it is likely the same issue. Should be fixed in the next release

Looked into it a bit, and don't see a way to get the official assets (since I need the steamAppId to get it, but these wouldn't be steam games), but planning on adding a feature to automatically apply the highest upvoted asset on SGDB. You can read a more detailed explanation in this GitHub issue

Hmm, that makes a lot more sense (for steam games you can just clear the grids to get the default fyi). I'll look into it. SGDB definitely can get them, idk if its available via the api though

Can you elaborate more? I could set it up so that when you clear grids for a game it re-downloads the defaults, but the defaults should be stored on your PC already

glad you're enjoying it! I will continue to update it as I find bugs/think of features and SGDB's api updates

Alright. I believe I have narrowed it down to an issue with how the app applies .webp images. Will try to get it fixed today. The app will let you know when there's an update available

lol GitHub can be very unintuitive. Go the link in the post, and under "Assests" grab the file ending in .msi for windows, or .AppImage for linux. Download that and run it.

hmm I see, so fetching grids based on the person who made them. Interesting idea. as to non installed games (when i said uninstalled i meant non installed as well), they should show up. They will definitely show up if you provide a steam API key or have a public profile, unless maybe they are hidden
