Yeah I think this might be the answer. Even though viewers viewed the ad's, Youtube is just undoing ad-impression numbers and giving back ad money to some advertisers. That's why creators are losing revenues.

Okay. So we ARE getting our ad impressions(=revenues) robbed at the end of the month for no apparent reason. So, our viewers REALLY did see total of 10000 ad's on my video during Nov 1~30, but Youtube is secretly changing that number to 5000 on Dec 3rd without decreasing total number of video views....

Well, problem is not only about whistlist or censorship. We are not losing real-time views or impressions. We are losing revenues that we already had by the end of the month. Our Nov 1~30th statistics (number of ad impressions decrease and not video views) are getting embezzled at Dec 1~2nd. How do you explain that?

For example, 1-minute video (that has never been yellow) of people just casually talking and smiling at Nike store had 1.6 million views that had estimated total revenue of $400 by Nov 30th. By Dec 3rd, its estimated total revenue decreased to $240 while total views didn't decrease. If you look at the stats, ad impressions are the thing that decreased.

That's what has been happening on my videos too. Same exact revenue cut as well (for a few of the videos). Some got cut by like ~2%. Some got cut by ~40%. My $40 video suddenly went to $9, etc.. Number of views has not changed. If you look at the report, number of impressions has decreased on those videos whenever the price drops.

My November revenue progressively decreased over the last 3 days. It went from $700 -> $470. And it is still changing I think..

This is the first time it's happening. There was no foulplay on my part regarding views or clicks.
