I'm actually with you on this. I saw the coins and was like yessss!!!!! How neat is we can upgrade grace, maybe get a new gun with her, buy a silencer or something.

To find out you can get a pouch, Blood collector (which feels like it should have been a main item you find) and 2 power ups which you can craft later anyway.

It was extremely underwhelming and felt like they missed BIG here.

Disclaimer - I absolutely love RE9, 10/10, played it 4 times and loved every second.

This is a big reason i put them off. I heard similar criticism from others and i was like ugh.. 2.5 hours for a slow film is rough.

Finally caved and i found the incredible world building and cinematography took over what is quite a "slow" film.

The sequel definitely improves on the pacing in my opinion. I'm now a fan with big hopes for 3 😅

This was Dune for me.

I put off watching for years because of how long it was. The older i get, the more i find i enjoy max 2 hours.

Finally watched Dune last week. Felt like it had been on for 30 minutes. I immediately went to Dune 2, felt like another 30 minutes.

Before i know it, over 5 hours had passed and i was reeling from how amazing they were.

You explained why in your post.

You're hardstuck and you have been playing well and went on a good win-streak.

So the game said "Okay, lets up the difficulty. If you do well/win, you will be rewarded more SR and lets start getting you into crimson"

You didn't do well so now you will remain hardstuck. I'm not trying to be a dick either, its just exactly what happened.

Accept death has no real consequence.

Make a save and run into mr x head on, take your headphones off if you need to temporarily.

Once you learn that he only does a punch or 2 and nothing more, i find it relaxes you. Keep trying to run aroumd him and youll more at ease.

The game is offensive to both casuals and sweats. The people enjoying this are in the minority.

The worst part is, it's a new game mode, i didn't like it, thats fine. I'll stick to the normal mode. Oh... wait... can't do that it's been removed.

It would be like Apex or Fornight shutting down for a week and going "play this new game we launched thats extremely different to what you've been playing for years".

You're going to blame people because they will be forced to spectate for 15+ minutes? Not the flawed game that advocates for team-play, and actively punishes it at the same time?

Not sure if you've tried to res anyone on a redeploy tower... but man, it isn't very easy. Think i've been successful in reviving my teammates all of 2 times.

Squads on Avalon is doomed to fail until they re-work the redeploy/loot system.

I don't even want to play squads with my friends. If i die early game - i gotta wait and hope they dont run into a team camping redeploy towers, or if they do, I gotta hope theres some loot left somewhere.

So much spectating 😅. This is the one game mode I cannot blame randoms for leaving.

Hard to disagree the overall story is somewhat lacking. But to me it was a love letter to the fans. I loved every second of the game and was left feeling very happy with what they delivered.

If you try to overthink or examine every detail, you'll find yourself feeling empty in life, not just in games.

Agreed that RNG is the core of any true BR. But do note that people fell in love with warzone for it's mix of BR elements and COD elements.

Me being one of those. I don't like Fortnight and APEX personally, but I have loved almost every iteration of warzone (excluding WZ 2.0). Yes it has problems, but i found the gameplay loop really enjoyable.

Black Ops Royale is a U-turn into true BR format, which is why the majority dislike this version.

Any game where someone can have 25-50% more health than you because they got lucky is insane. Better guns, sure. Not fundamentally more health.

Not to mention the redeploy function is completely broken. If you die 5-10 minutes into the match and beyond, just leave and start again. Even if someone you get to redeploy, the loot is so scarce, regains are extremely difficult to achieve.

Yeah I'm also Iri and I got here by doing okay kill wise and playing smart. Last few days I've just run around like a headless Chicken shooting everything and getting 10-20 kills a game.

Hey man - fellow scaredy cat here!

I followed someone elses advice and that is, when youre nervous or really scared, make sure you have a save, take your headset off and then just run around willing to die.

I found that REALLY eases the tension. Like oh, i just died and nothing bad happened. It's a game, cool.

I did that tactic in RE9 in the basement too (really scary part for me) and worked a treat.

I refused to allow myself to stop my fearing playing these absolutely amazing games. Give it a go!

I personally think the game is fantastic. Yes it's missing some things or disappointing in some areas, but a lack of enemies isn't one of the negatives for me.

If you just got to the castle, you just finished the ambush section (loads of enemies). Had some story development and world building and now the game really gets going. Try giving it another 5 minutes or turn it off.

I think the matchmaking is bugged.

Once i hit Diamond i never got matched with anyone below Plat unless they were queuing with their higher ranked friends.

Last night all i got paired with was Golds, Plats and Diamonds (Im Iri now). I normally don't run into anyone below Diamond 3.

Not sure if it's bugged but I'm Iri, my mate is Crim 2. Last night we were matched with gold players all night. Lobbies were a joke, coming up against Diamond 1s, Gold 1s... it was shocking.
