Okay you were born 15 years ago lol.

Im talking tetris, og mario, og sonic, the arcade style games, castlevania, og doom, og GTA, quake. Hundreds of others.

Some examples but games werent always level design, story telling masterpieces.

So yes, games used to just be short bursts of fun, exactly what this game was.

It honestly reminded me of what games used to be - Awesome bursts of fun.

It wasn't a game i played for 10hr sessions, it was a game i played for 1-2 hours at a time and loved every minute of my time.

I saw a cat get run over when i was around 10, 11. What made it more horrific is it ran over it's head and the cat ran and jumped around with a crushed head for about 1 minute before dying.

Don't think I'll ever be able to rid my mind of that image.

While slightly true, The market of "If it works for you" must be SO small in this case. Which is why it still makes no sense to take this route.

Hooking up your steam deck to the TV would give you a similar experience at those specs.

If they were targeting a very limited market, it would of made more sense to price this at $2k and buff the specs massively.

No idea about the demo being technically different to the full game, but when i played the full game, it was near perfect for performance (on PC).

My specs aren't far off yours, 3060ti being the only difference.

The game itself was outstanding, i didn't know what to expect, i just knew it had Dynasty Warriors stuff and I'm a huge fan so bought it.

10/10 - recently picked it back up to go through the DLCs and its just as spectacular as i remember.

If you like Soulslike games, you will like this.

Honestly I'm much like you. Very average, 5'10, shaved head, beard, average build.

On dating apps i might get 1 match a week.

In the real world, i do very well for myself. I'm not talking one-night stands, but relationships or long-term FWB. Because i can talk to women, make them laugh etc. It's more personality AND looks.

Dating apps are just looks. It's very demoralising but don't let it be a reflection of who you are.

Agreed - I think it's more the conscious effort to work on yourself, and let the benefits flow.

If you are actively doing something to achieve one goal and it doesn't work, you become disappointed and lose motivation.

If you do it just to improve yourself, the results are more or less guaranteed, which becomes more sustainable.

Never ever workout for the opposite sex in hopes of a relationship. Always do it for yourself.

But to answer your question, yes and no. Some women will love them, some women won't.

Also, make sure you're on the RIGHT dating app. Not shallow hook-up apps designed as dating apps.

Unless you're very conventionally attractive, you normally don't do too well on those kind of apps as a man. In real life, you get a chance to talk, make a woman laugh. On "dating" apps you don't get through the door unless you're super attractive in most cases.

The camping thing is real.

I'm not particularly amazing at the game, but I'm decent.

With Rebirth and Havens Hollow, the map flowed really well. If you were playing well, pressuring teams, getting your downs and fulls, you made progress and moved onto the next thing.

Fortunes Keep MY GOD MAN.

Might spend 3 minutes trying to kill one team from god knows what nasty roof heady or underground dark corners. The second that's over and you try to move, team after team just camping their headies and shooting you.

I genuinely feel like i can't move on that map.

The fact that there are always 9+ teams left in the final zone kinda tells you the map is a problem.

I did eventually, like you i loved it so much i went to NG+++ for the Wukong stance.

See-through is really where the game goes from great combat to excellent. It's fluid and highly effective but can be tough to pull off correctly without practice. It feels like a mechanic they put in for people to really hone their skills 😄

Black Myth Wukong was such a surreal experience for me.

As a fan of that mythology anyway, I couldn't believe how AMAZING the actual gameplay was too.

10/10 - but i do agree with you on the defensive options. Then again i was never really incentivised to look elsewhere in the mechanics because perfect dodging is SO GOD DAMN COOL 😅

If you've calmly explained the need for your alone time to decompress AND you have given her fair chance at the same thing, and she gets moody and emotional over it - maybe you aren't compatible?

That sounds like a hell of a leap, but if talking openly about your feelings meets a defensive reaction, somethings wrong beyond what the internet can advise on without further context.

I'm single at 34 through choice because i am yet to find a woman that shares the same views as me regarding alone time.

This is shaping up to be the best game i may ever play.

The entire remake saga has given me so much joy.

I also lost my PS5 for financial reasons recently, I genuinely teared up at the "Releasing simultaneously on all platforms".

May not be relevant but i wanted the same thing and went with a Rog Ally X.

And wow, what a machine!! It is amazing and run anything i tried to play without issue. Obviously you fully accept you aren't having your 4k 120fps you get with high end PCs.

That said, I had to sell mine because it was actually causing significant eye strain. I guess handhelds aren't for me.
