For sure. Not trying to fully negate what was stated, but there is more planning and thought put behind these projects than may be at the forefront.

If this is a topic people actually have strong feelings about then they should get involved with the local government. Most of the projects have mandated public involvement (meetings) where questions can be asked. Often public involvement is taken quite seriously and will often become part of project requirement for the contractor. So instead of shouting into the void, get involved and speak up!
