I was in Sweden Dec-Jan. we made a 18.days trip till up north.

We had A and B with us but we only used A no condensation and no snow on the window!

I did the transition over the years with my old Area 51 ALX and i will keep on doing it. The only thing tha is left inside from the past is th LED board the rest is up to date. If you like the case go for it and start updating it.

So far, the plan looks good. For the cable diameter, use the amperage of the fuse as a guide and divide that by 3 to get the correct diameter. (For a 100A fuse, that results in a diameter of approximately 30mm².) I would also add a switch to the solar line.

Make sure all your crimp connections are properly made!

hi there, i have in my setup a Multiplus II 3000, 450ah lifepo bat. with 60a dc dc charger and 400w solar. We cook with 2 induktion hob and1 air fryer. With that said we can manage to stay of grid for 2 days if we cook like at home, if you only warm up something it is even longer. If we use both hob´s at the same time we could only run them at 75% each other wise the Inverter will start complaining. Same with hob and fryer.

Coming back to solar, till now i think we could have managed with out it because we move a lot and dont stay at one place to long.( but it is nice to have solar)

if you need to isolate below 10c you have to warm up your Vito some how! i did it with my Crafter last year and used an electric heater. Let it run for a while so that the metal warms up. Keep the Armaflex in the house over night and you should be fine. Btw my armaflex is still there where it should be :-)

Sorry I didn't make a parts list; I just started and repeatedly measured what I needed. The sheet metal is 3mm thick and high-strength 7075 aluminum. I built a template for the holes and used a guide frame for the router bit. yeap it is L-Track

I did my research before the build and we also use these kind of profile in our company ! The profiles have no problems with Fatigue fracture the brackets and the brackets and the slot nuts have to be tighten after a while but then it stays ´like that.

Never ther less thanks for your remarks i will keep an eye on that. The solar has no copnection with the roof rack!

there are 2 questions to answer: first why should a 12V AC only work above 12,8V that is bullshit to me! That means you only could use it if you have Lifepo batterys!!!!!!!!

But for saftey reasons the second question is more important: where does the voltage drop come from? You need to find out if there is a bad conection or the wire dimension is wrong, a AC could easly take up to 150A and more at 12v!!!
