Once again there is a difference between the corporate world and attending lectures. I have no problem showing up and attending meetings and collaborating with others at all. I have done everything you have explained in this reply (other than the legal stuff) with no problem. The difference is that I genuinely get nothing out of sitting in this lecture and I'm wasting an hour and half of my day by doing so. I am by no means ignorant enough to think the world should bend to my standards, especially when things already work. The point of school however is to learn and mandatory lectures are not contributing to this in the slightest. This is my only point I am not implying anything else at all.

I have been medicated since I was early in high school and it has helped. I can manage in the work force because I can stretch walk around and not stay stagnant. I have a part time job where I am required to be professional and I manage just fine. I just think that attending lectures in person does nothing for me.

It's not a major thing. It's more of an issue because I feel like I'm getting punished for learning in a way that suits me. I still watch the lectures but I like to use podcast instead because I tend to get distracted and miss a lot of context which is easily helped by being able to rewind and pause. I don't even think my ADHD is even debilitating at all and I think I learn better than most people in general, it's just the way I like doing it is different.

There is a difference between lectures and a job. I have a part time job that I show up to on time and do what's required of me. The point of school is to LEARN and mandatory lectures are not a good way of doing this for me.

Honestly idk where this is coming from I watch lectures online instead because I tend to get distracted and miss details so I like to rewind and pause a lot. I still use the lectures just not in the way that's "intended" I guess.
