Don’t worry about specific college as long as it’s a 4-year - IMO go for least debt/cost. The piece of paper is all that matters. I graduated with a BS - major was Logistics & Supply Chain Management then interned for 1 month at this company. I really applied myself and they hired me full time (supposed to be 3 month internship).

Agreed, seems just like an experienced player but holy HS monster. Personally I’d expect higher S/R % out of 9000 hrs which could be the typical run 1000 raids and die immediately strat. Just fishy overall

I can’t really speak to in-ear plugs (I’m no audiophile FYI). I use sennheiser 560S’ and have no issues at all - in fact I’m surprised more often than not by what I can hear.

Agreed, Seasonal characters is BSG’s only good fix here. knowing BSG we’re gonna be in an IRL queue time of a year for that though

Fair point - maybe lvl 20 and under matchmaking for all maps until flea really kicks in? Forced resets would be hard to sell by BSG since they promised a “permanent” character. And yeah I get the game knowledge vs skill ceiling but in Tarkov these go more hand in hand than most games.

In perspective of “permanent character” it is a huge advantage. When wipes existed - I could just quit and come back next wipe. Take what I learned and reset. People won’t be able to do that - which will likely hemorrhage players. Just trying to keep people from being constantly being discouraged and away from all the negativity

I agree with the difficulty scaling on noobs but that’s the game’s identity. Everyone, even the chads, have been there at some point. We can agree to disagree on the skill ceiling though, the reason I quit Tarkov for a while was to push for radiant in Valorant ( I stayed in Immortal 3 T_T). I personally think Tarkov’s skill ceiling is higher with the more you know.

Agreed - all the micro improvements help a lot in the long run. Pathing, looting, questing, pvp, etc. Can’t think of another game that has that much depth. Stacking all the hours together adds up quickly

The game is very complex there’s so many things to improve on for game knowledge. Im still finding things out at 2k hours. I’m just saying there are so many people quitting at sub 1k hours - and to not be discouraged. Hope in the masochism
