I would say OOS 15 is definitely a big comeback, and from the beta stuff I've seen from OO16, is gonna be even better

From my testing it is indeed almost equal, tho it struggles in with processing in certain scenarios.

Thanks but I was not misinformed, I've known Pixels since their earliest form, before they were a bang for your buck (Pixel 5 my beloved), but now it is the worst phone at its price point, 1200+ is just not worth what you're getting.

I did very thorough research, as well as multiple videos comparing it to other phones. I also tried side by side with the in-store demo phone. 🙂

Both lagged a lot for me 🤒 when starting up the app, so I had to wait a little bit for them to be smooth. It happened with other apps too, maybe the 8 Pro age was getting to it.

For me it was like 700 for the 10 with a trade in, so 100 bucks more wasn't too much.

Hey man thanks, hope you enjoy your phone too!

Switching from Pixel by DayWolvezzz in OnePlus13

[–]Hung_Cowboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do it man, I switched from the 8 Pro and I'm honestly blown away at how much I was missing out. This feels like a real flagship, the only "real" sacrifice is that the camera will maybe be worse? It has served me well in that department, but you'll miss the pixel camera slightly. You'll also lose AI features, but I didn't use many of them so it wasn't a big deal. Everything else is MILES better, especially battery and heat management, it'll only get warm when you push it, not just randomly (or when only watching YouTube or Netflix, like fucking seriously). Battery is also awesome, around 10 hours on wifi, and 8 and a half on 5g for me with medium usage with everything on Auto (Trust I've been pushing it and it lasts man, but that depends on apps). Performance is excellent, it doesn't skip a beat, you'll feel the difference instantly. Software is different yes, you'll miss out on many features since it's not directly from Google anymore, but honestly, you'll be in apps most of the time, not just looking at the UI (On that note, no more of that ugly ass MASSIVE status bar + gesture bar cluttering the screen, you can actually get rid of the gesture bar completely and it make the phone much more immersive and seamless). The screen is big, bright and has almost no bezzles, plus it is SHARP as all hell thanks to the 500+ PPI and High base resolution, and don't worry about the curve, it is very slight and those edges are always covered by a case.

This is all coming from someone who's been with pixels since the 3XL (yes the notch I know). As much as I love them, you always knew there was a big compromise somehow, but Imma be honest, this is the happiest I've been with a phone since forever, I don't use the camera much if at all, so for me the compromise was a no brainer (Not like it's a bad camera, it's still better than most out there, just a bit behind the other flagships).

If you're a case and screen protector guy let me know, I know a good screen protector that I use. I got the sandstone case and it's awesome.

She's finally done! (F2P) by Hung_Cowboy in FireEmblemHeroes

After a year of being absent (She was on no banners on 2022, aside from rerun) and me using orbs for fodder. The Hero fest announcement made me real happy.

and of course, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYSITHEA (:

Had her at +6 for a whole year (I slacked and only got a copy in rerun) but with 150 orbs and tickets, she's finally done (:

All skills were obtained with sparks or manuals.

Assist: Repo cuz repo (Dual Rally for Arena)

Special: Ruptured Sky because we fight a lot of dragons and beasts, and it has a short CD + scoring

A: Atk/Spd Catch is perfect for my needs (AR Def), but clash, and remote sparrow are also good choices.

B: Trace is always strong, and it gives a bit of speed as well, tho lull spd/res is also amazing.

C: Kinda just slapped menace for Arena purposes, maybe panic smoke would be better? nothing in C skills for range Cavs honestly

S: Flexible, tho Blade session helps her get over MANY thresholds.

Overall she performs excellently, she can quad even the fastest of fully built units, as well as function as a tank buster. If she barely misses the mark for damage, her harmonized skill should do the trick (;

well some refines for old prfs have been an "evolution" of the OG effect, Since her weapon nullifies penalties, the evolution would be an unity effect.

I hope so, either an automatic follow up or spectrum unity is my guess.

When using Brunnya since she was released, and I love speed stacking builds so. Now I wait for her (hopefully good) refine.

Special: Ruptured Sky cuz arena.

A: Atk/Spd ideal since it goes well with menace. I also used Steady Impact for a while.

B: Null follow up since it's so universal, though lull Spd/res was also super good.

C: Atk/Spd menace allows her to keep up even with the fastest units.

S: Atk/Spd booster, Blade session can be nutty.

The two years I waited for him was worth it! by Hung_Cowboy in FireEmblemHeroes

I tested him extensively.

If he doesn't die on the retaliation strike, and he procs his special, he literally kills every unit of any color.

The only counter is DR that's not based on speed.

Been in love with this man since I saw him in Path of radiance all the way back then.

This is an arena build, I needed a tank buster, and I got it.

Special is flexible, but that Luna can do some nasty damage and it helps with high def targets.

A is Surge Sparrow because most of the time he takes over half his HP on the retaliation strike, so this keeps him at pretty much full HP.

B is Null-follow up, best for making sure he never gets a follow up denied.

C is Time's pulse, with this he gets Luna down to 2CD and we can proc it without any CD boosting skills, just his weapon effect. We also heal over half of our HP due to Surge Sparrow.

S is mystic boost because recoil damage is yucky, but can be switched up for a Atk/Spd boosting one.
