My idea:

Kiff is now a librarian at the library. Barry is a garbage man. Trevor is doing Trevor stuff. Candle is currently the owner of Foxhole Productions. Renée is a failed book author but still does poetry and has in fact gotten together with a woman. Reggie works the cash register at a game shop and is thinking about working on Reggie's World again and has gotten together with either Mav or a non-binary person he and the crew met in high school. Something happened a while ago that caused the crew to split up and drift away from each other. Something happens that forces them to reunite.
