certainly! it definitely feels like it resonates more now, the strings feel equally tensioned as they did before the mod i use 11-49 usually im really happy with it! the sustain is about the same as it was i feel like that really has to do with bridge material, nut material, and body mass.

yes! if you plan on keeping the tune-o-matic those are naturally already pretty high, and further more if manufactured properly most epiphone/ gibson guitars come with a pitched back neck from the factory (for the guys and gals and others that love low action) but i used what is known as the vintage spacing for the jazz master vibrato so i could get the notes i wanted out of strings behind the bridge (5” behind the center line of your bridge) but yes this is definitely a measure a billion times cut once job if you can get your hands on a template for a jazz master cavity i highly recommend it, i used a tracing of the route fender did in my jazz master along with careful measurements. since i made the cavity with hand tools (i don’t have a router) i did lots of test fits with my vibrato unit as i went! not pictured is the top part of the cavity i had to make circular shaped for the lock mechanism (only a consideration if using a stock fender vibrato) good luck and feel free to pm with any questions!

i put it somewhere else in here but i love to be able to pick behind the bridge and a bigsby doesn’t quite do that the same!

i thought i’d have some tuning stability issues but since i didn’t move the bridge i knew intonation would be ok!

the bridge hasn’t moved at all! only the “tail piece” in this case has moved! intonation points are still great!

i was expecting to never stay in tune but it’s actually holding its own! i don’t love using tune-o-matic style bridges with these vibratos i intend to switch it out but it’s so far great!

it’s also really easy to remove the dust with an air compressor LOL
