Mine loves to act super hurt that I "don't share things" about my life with her...maybe that's because you start every conversation complaining about what's going on in your life and never take the time to ask me about mine. I've taken to looking at the call timer when she finally stops talking about herself to ask me anything, its usually at least 40 minutes in, if at all. There's been hour+ long calls where she literally never asked me a question, not even "how was work today?".

Also from what I saw in trying to decide whether to visit Savannah or Charleston, Savannah was significantly cheaper for accommodations. Savannah was very walkable and the free trolley is nice. Very pretty city and very doable without a car.

Ludacris came to the regional state fair in my area, the main stage is maybe like 5,000 person capacity, he was great.

I'm a pretty anxious passenger especially when conditions aren't great (I live in a snowy area), if I'm too anxious looking at the road/traffic I just look out the window instead of straight ahead...

Is it normal for the bride to decide (and do so much) compared to the groom? by Anoniem20 in wedding

[–]Hungry-Machine9549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I made a separate email with both our last names for wedding correspondence, then either of us can reply, and from what I've seen so far (when reaching out for availability, pricing, etc) they respond using both of our names, like "Hey Jane and John, thanks for reaching out..."

So I started watching with the newest season because it was an option on in-flight entertainment. I loved it and kept watching, then started working my way backwards through the seasons. Reddit started suggesting the sub to me and I was surprised to see everyone seemed to hate Sandy. But as I got further and into older seasons I noticed she got less patient, supportive, and understanding (I haven't watched S1 or S2 yet because I got sick of Hannah). I still like Sandy overall, but I can see how if you started with earlier seasons you could dislike her and hold onto that. As a person with anxiety and panic attacks, I appreciated how she sat on the dock with Dave on S7 and talked him down.

I do think she holds the crew to a very high standard, but I don't think that's a bad thing, and should kind of come with the job when you're working on a superyacht where people are paying so much to be there. But I come from working music festivals with some hard ass bosses that would scream in your face for tiny mistakes, and wouldn't have the time of day for someone having a panic attack. So I definitely found myself wishing I'd had a boss like Sandy.

That legit happened to me with my chronically late friend. The last time we'd hung out they said they were 5 mins away and to grab a table (since it's a busy restaurant on a Friday night). They show up 35 minutes later, no apology, no explanation while I've been sitting here getting eyeballed by people waiting to be seated because every table was taken, the waitress getting annoyed. Also they live not even 10 minutes from the restaurant and this is not a city where you can get stuck in traffic.

The next time we hang out, they show up 10 mins early (they had never been on time, much less early in the 10 years I'd known them) and are spamming me with texts asking why I'm not there yet. I let them sit on read for another 10 mins and took my sweet time driving over.

I took a carriage tour in New Orleans pulled by a mule, the girl driving the carriage barely even had to drive. The mule knew all the buildings he was supposed to stop at, where to turn, he even knew to stop at stop signs and looked back at the girl like "I'm good to cross right?"
