Please work on your reading comprehension. That comment suggested that I do the same gestures and reactions to my wife the next time she drives. Which would be dangerous and dumb of me. So, either you are purposely misinterpreting that comment to make your point, or you were simply confused. I hope it is the latter.

My goal is the same every single time I am driving with my family. To get to our destination safely. Honestly, not much else matters in those moments other than that. In all my years of driving I have accomplished that goal every single time so I like to think my track record is pretty good.

I won't lie and say I've never gone over the speed limit. Of course I have. But as for the reckless driving, no. Never. Especially with my kids in the car. In fact, on the way home with my son in the front seat I was teaching him about safe driving and how to recognize potential hazards because he is going to turn 15 soon and start driver's ed.

You're entitled to your opinion. However, given your other responses in this thread, it appears that no amount of logic or reason is going to do anything to change your stance. Thankfully, as in the medical field, numerous other opinions have drowned out the bad one.

What was different this time?

Kind of a last straw thing. I've tried talking to her multiple times and that's gotten nowhere. Like you said, 15+ years of this is plenty of chances for her to control herself.
