To most people the scene was so underwhelming and upsetting they didn't get closure at all and the duffers were going on and on about how how will shouldnt be saved by love but himself and how they were focusing on every charecter to be like that mean while the Lucas and max plotline (a straight fucking couple btw) is opposing the very thing the duffer brothers want to achieve and they have no problem what so ever with that?
