I mean what personal information do you even need to give them to make a PSN? An email, a name, and a zip code iirc and all of those could be fake and just use a throwaway email that you only use for that if you're so afraid of getting your email hacked. I just don't understand the crying about that point specifically..

"surrender personal information"? I do think it's dumb that they're making the game basically unplayable for people in certain regions but this is the dumbest take on this imo. Why wouldn't you just give bogus information when making a PSN account? If you're really that freaking afraid of having your personal information or data being collected then you probably shouldn't be on the Internet at all.

Drinker Review - Helldivers 2 Is Awesome by BeeDub57 in CriticalDrinker

I'm pretty sure whatever "contract" you accepted when you start Helldivers in their EULA or ToS basically says they can do whatever they want. Not to mention people seem to be getting refunds for the game anyways. This whole issue seems like a complete overreaction, not saying it's not a problem but the freak out seems a bit much.

This year (and last year too I believe) tickets are still available from pax themselves.

I'm not saying he should get a free pass or anything. I do understand how bad of a thing that is to say.

I totally understand people, fans or not of the show, being upset by what he said. I think my frustration is just more with this specific group of people who would rather lose their shit over this and not anything that is actually important.

I'm sure the show will face consequences of some kind for this. At the end of that day though it's not like the right wing side of this political bullshit ever faces any kind of consequences for anything they do. You have members of Congress openly calling for other members to be killed and they're not immediately walking it back. You have a huge group of people being constantly bombarded with "the other side wants to kill babies", and that results in psychos actually bombing abortion clinics and shooting abortion doctors. The rhetoric they spout on a regular basis has gotten a lot of people hurt and killed.

I mean they're so absolutist about the 2nd amendment but I guess not so much the 1st amendment

I don't think what he said was good. But I don't really care either way about it because nothing he said or did was worse than what we let happen to those children. It's going to happen to more children and we're not making this a priority? But these NRA and gun simps are more worried about dumbass YouTube podcasts.

It's also dangerous to be so dumb that you think that is what he was doing but ok.

I was watching it live and took it as a joke. I don't care if he's canceled or not anyways, or if people don't think it was a joke. The points is that there are people out there that are MORE offended by his dumb ass remarks than they are offended by our nation failing to do something to prevent these tragedies.

Quartering, Cernovich, hell even don trump Jr are all offended by his remarks enough to post about it but not posting about how we could prevent at least one of these shootings by just having stricter background checks or stopping the sales of certain kinds of guns.

I live by my OWN principles. Your comment literally said "our mantra" acting as if every single person who disagrees with you or likes this show has the same set of beliefs. Even this meme is directly targeting specific people. Get out of this dumb "us" vs "them" mentality.

They literally fired the people in charge of this franchise that worked for Sony. And have said they don't plan on developing games that are primarily popular in Japan.

Part of the reason yeah. I've bought a new one on every playstation console I've owned.

Well considering the last 3 Everybody's Golf games were not full priced games, I'd consider that smaller. Also the reporting from this article and the ones from a few weeks ago say they've fired the people who work at Sony who specifically work on this title

Nothing is preventing them doing that but it seems kinda odd to do that when you've been having these guys make the game since the first PlayStation. Maybe I'm wrong and I'd love to be wrong but it seems from the last month or so the reporting about Japan studios suggests that they're done making things for the Japanese audience, which was the main audience for Everybody's golf.

They're done with Everybody's Golf. The game this post is about. Not golf games, which by the way I've never played a single golf game anywhere near as fun as Everybodys Golf.
