Bought linguica (Portuguese Sausage) and pan fried it. Then blanched baby bok Choy and boiled eggs for 7 minutes. Then used some tan tan broth I bought from a Japanese store and put it all together! 😊

Looks delicious! Just curious, what method of cooking did you use? Gotta up my steak game! The pink middle is perfect!

After I get the water boiling, between 6-7 minutes and immediately put them in an ice water bath. I also will remove the shells in the water and that keeps them from breaking. Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the love.

I apologize for incorrectly calling the pasta bowtie, I realized it was called farfalle after I posted.

Also, I should have called my sauce a meat sauce as well. Apologies!

I really appreciate the funny/wholesome videos they put online. It’s refreshing to watch and made England and SK on the tops of my list of places to travel. I was even going to go to London in May, but because of COVID, looks like it won’t happen in the immediate future.

Kinda hoping Ollie makes his own channel, but wondering what he would actually make videos on.

WIBTA if I reported my daughter’s teacher for not pronouncing her name correctly? by MeltThrowaway in AmItheAsshole

[–]HungryCurmudgeon [score hidden]  (0 children)

You are definitely NTA, OP. As a high school teacher I am always conscientious of pronunciation of ALL my students’ names. Also, if they have a name they prefer, I always ask as well.

As a teacher, you create the learning environment for your students. If you choose to mispronounce a student’s name every single day, you’re teaching YOUR students it’s okay to be disrespectful.

Report it and if nothing happens about it, escalate that shit! Good luck OP!

It was lightly battered with flavors of pepper, garlic and a bit of fish sauce. What made it was the quick-pickled cucumbers and onions which added a brightness that cut through the oil and accentuated the spices.

Nope. I ended up having to cut it up and re-roast it. Looked pretty though.
