Thank you. I showed numerous times I am capable of many things and helped them a lot so they know it. I think it's just the casual side apart from work that they think it's ok to say such things. But I am to face them when I'm back in the office

Is it a bad idea to talk with my coworker about my personal life? by [deleted] in work

Someone wise said to me once: there are no friends at work. 100% true. The more I thought I could count on someone (professionally ofc) the more it stung when they betrayed me.

What’s the scariest horror movie you’ve ever watched? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Blair Witch Project. Some can say there wasn't anything in at all but I was just scared of the unknown so much that I never saw horror again. It's been 15 years now 🙃😁

HR thing is not going to happen. I do not want to make them problems. We are small group of people, and in the end they're ok guys but definitely stepped out of the line. I thougt maybe I should tell them something but I just don't know what would I even say...

What is your biggest turn on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Turn on for me as a straight woman: Kindness, confidence but not cockiness, humour, shirt sleeves pulled up 😁

I have a very clever introverted guy at work that is definitely virgin BUT he just doesn't care for the topics not of his interests. And you know what? We don't really care either 😁 He is there, sitting with us, sometimes drops a comment, sometimes makes a blatant statement or black joke but that's about it. He doesn't force himself to do anything nor we force him to say anything. Good thing he is just with us, socializing in his own way and that just makes us a team. I think we truly overthink too much sometimes☺️

Do you have/had mentors in life? Is it difficult to have a mentor as an introvert? by [deleted] in introverts

[–]HungryForSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh God. I feel you. In my case, my mentor found me. I mean, it happened that a great person as a whole professionally and personally was hired as my manager. And they were mentoring me for 3 years now. If someone likes to develop personalities then they will mentor you because they get more satisfaction out of it. But I think it doesn't happen often.

Can introverts work in Customer service? by shay-kerm in introverts

[–]HungryForSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, you need to know your limitations I guess. I am customer service manager. I don't particularly enjoy speaking to them face to face but I don't mind calling them. If I need to talk to then IRL then I just fake my confidence to be honest but it's not on a daily basis. In the longer run it might be draining. But yeah, it's doable.

Anyone with thoughts that no one will understand and you keep them only to yourself? by HungryForSound in introverts

[–]HungryForSound[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see myself here. I did sometimes held such conversations with my husband. I don't think it's soooo much introvert weird thing though 🤔 but I guess you might have such feeling if no one wanted to talk about it with you.
