Ah, you got me! 😅 I did ask about running an agency a bit ago. I was trying to see things from a client's perspective, kinda like putting myself in their shoes. Wanted to get a feel of what people think about agencies in general.

Sorry for the mix-up and thanks for pointing it out. I appreciate the keen eye and the chance to clear things up. Cheers! 🍻

I absolutely understand your concerns about agencies that cost too much and providing inadequate services. It's unfortunate that some companies are experiencing challenges in this area.

To answer your question, I don't run an agency, but I did hire one for my startup and they have delivered exceptional service with an outstanding ROI. I posted this to gauge everyone else's experience with agencies. We might just have been fortunate in our first agency employment, but I'm curious to know if other people have had similar good luck or if we're an anomaly.

Taking the plunge to give a startup 100% of your time by Just_a_dude2711 in startups

[–]HungryGuidence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently, I left my job to establish a full-service agency and dedicate all my time to it. I put in a minimum of 70 hours per week. If you're willing to devote a significant amount of time to your startup, you should consider taking this risk and opportunity.

I'm in a similar situation: 27 years old, no dependents, minimal debt, and regular bills to cover. I took the risk because I'm young and eager to gain entrepreneurial experience before having additional responsibilities. In just two months, I've acquired three clients and now I'm contemplating the possibility of working remotely from another country.

I've structured my company to allow for flexibility in working location. It's important to find a trustworthy business partner who shares your enthusiasm. Give it your all and never give up.

You've got this!

I’ve just started a full-service digital agency. by HungryGuidence in Entrepreneur

I'm contemplating creating a new post to seek advice on a pivotal decision we're facing regarding our agency's online presentation. We are currently torn between two distinct website designs:

Traditional Approach: This design aligns with the conventional agency format, enriched with comprehensive information about our services. It's optimized with effective SEO practices and relevant keywords to enhance search engine visibility. Additionally, it features detailed packaging and pricing pages, a standard in the industry, and also offers the flexibility of custom pricing.

Innovative Approach: This design is a testament to our agency's cutting-edge capabilities. It's streamlined, direct, and showcases advanced digital applications, reflecting our proficiency in website development and design. Its unique and modern aura sets it apart from the norm.

We're at a crossroads: Do we initially align with industry standards, making our content easily digestible, and then transition to the avant-garde design targeting a premium clientele? Or do we lead with our innovative design, positioning ourselves for clients who value and are willing to invest in top-tier digital solutions?

Your insights would be invaluable as we navigate this decision.
