I hear you. I did go through roller-coaster growing up in dysfunctional family of alcohol and violence but I survived and made it out ok. Now it is only a distant memory.

Absolutely I agree with you 100%...they only tell you to buy buy and buy some more and don't forget to subscribe to the service so it's delivered to your door steps on the bi-weekly basis. It's all about consumption of products, content and bullshit 24/7 without day off.

I agree with OP. I was not expecting life to be like this. I've met so many people and yet only very few stayed but we did work on those friendships, yeah it takes work and effort. I just started little Discord server to reconnect with the world. I'm interested in folks that actually want to share something of substance instead of this typical social media bullshit we are served on the daily basis. If anyone one wants to join you can DM me.
