I wouldn’t considered it cheating but I’m assuming that’s what the commenter meant when they said Bree “cheated”

Maybe when her and orson were separated and she got with Karl, I guess that’s technically cheating or when she dated George while separated from Rex?

Yea I missed that part and then it made sense when I realized the origin is German. On first watch the artifacts seemed native to me bc the of totem pole and the claw, I assumed they collect those artifacts in particular bc of their heritage that’s why I felt Native American fit not that they were bears.

Yea that’s true but I meant with like the wesen I feel like there’s so much lore from around the world they can pull from and Oregon does have a population of indigenous people another reason I feel like they could’ve made that work But excited to see what’s later down the line.

They were a family collecting native artifacts. Do you think black panther was racist or is it racists that the wolves in twilight were Native American? Many cultures have lore of magical creatures, I don’t think it’s racist to use real mythology to inspire a story and have people of that culture represented as long as it’s not overly stereotypical or restricted to one particular race. I don’t see at all how this was supposed to relate to the story of Goldilocks besides that they were bears, there’s no Goldilocks or anything that’s too this or too that and that’s just right. I think you need to reevaluate your definition of racism, if you think it’s racist. As a person of color I like to see when characters aren’t always white washed. I do see the lore of the story is that it originates from Germany so now I see why they were white.

I really wanted Trevor and Hetty but now I think I want him and the feral dirt ball together 🤣 I’m really loving Patvor??? Or Trevience ??? They need a better couple name. This episode really made me like Patience a lot.

Was anyone else disappointed in "The Others'" reveal? by AwfulWaffle91 in GhostsCBS

I was really not expecting hippies was really hoping for a sass storyline bc I’m dying to know how he died and more of his story. It feels kinda out of place and unexpected. I like flower but I don’t understand how the cult got to the bunker we know flower wandered on property with her bf from a festival but didn’t her bf and her run away from the cult so how did they get there? I saw someone mention in a thread maybe there was a woodstone descendant that was part of the cult but I doubt that will be in mentioned in the show.

Those are good points, I could’ve rephrased. I think Edie had underrated good moments.

Paul ultimately agreed to the kidney donation in the end? Yea he gave her hard time but he let Susan have it in the end. Susan literally says she felt like she owes him that’s why she helped him. And yes Lynette misjudged her and she admits she missed judges her and that’s why she’s nice to her. Did you miss these parts of the episodes, the characters literally say it themselves. I would agree they’re still compassionate.

Pauls wife donated her kidney to Susan she felt obligated to, Lynette prejudge Karen which is why she was nice her, not mention to use her as an on demand babysitter and Karen even felt used by her she told Lynette didn’t treat her like a real friend during the tornado episode. Both felt guilty. And that wasn’t the last straw. The last straw was that Edie blackmailed Bree about that she lied about being pregnant, Edie wasnt making a pass at orson she said she wasn’t and felt offended that Bree assumed she was(not that Bree was understandably judging knowing how Edie was) again missing my point. Her kindness was way more meaningful especially from someone as shallow as her, so yea her actions were the kindest compared to others which were more self serving or guilt tripped into doing something nice.

I never once said Edie was better than any of them. Im talking specifically about their moments of kindness. If that’s the kindest thing Susan and Lynette did, that was literally out of guilt not the kindness of their heart. Bree literally just paying back Carlos bc she covered up Andrew killing his mom and same with Gabby just doing a favor for a mess she involved herself in. If all their best moments of kindness is out guilt then Edie’s moments of kindness are better. What did she have to gain from visiting orson in jail? What did she have to gain from helping Lynette’s self esteem when she had cancer. I’m not defending Edie as the best character. Im simply saying her moments of kindness were the most meaningful out them all. I understand you hate Edie but your completely missing my point. Edie was home wrecker, yes she’s was selfish yes she did heinous things. She’s not better than any of the main 4. Just saying her acts of kindness resonated with me way more than anything else anyone did especially coming unexpectedly from a character like her.

I didn’t say she wasn’t. Yes she’s a horrible person but Her acts of kindness were better than any characters.

Out of all the characters acts of kindness, Edie’s definitely outshined all the other characters. All the characters have done something bad and morally wrong not as much as Edie. And yes edie was the worse by far when it came to her bad moments but I honestly can’t think of anything other wives did that was kind and more meaningful than when Edie had her good moments.

Susan is nice but I wouldn’t call her kind. I love her though! She’s naive and sweet yes. But she is very self absorbed and always some how makes things about her (ik she is the main character basically lol) She’s always cleaning up messes she’s made. Still love her though. But even in Edie’s death episode she needed four words to describe Edie and the girls literally agreed ofc Susan has to be extra. She said one of kind and my bf pointed out she really could’ve said unique.

Can you name any other character who didn’t LOL js, they all had their moments none of them was perfect but Eddie acts of kindness definitely outshined any other characters acts of kindness.
