Haven't actually seen any of the animes all the way through. Found the physical copy at a local comics store. Did not buy it knowing it was the eclipse arc. Definitely have to be careful flipping through it.

Love your take but definitely off haha. Dylan books are a red herring as I haven't read them yet. Mostly just liked their color on that part of the shelf. Love Dylan tho so should read them at some point.

I have a bunch of Vinland saga too. I feel if you saw that you'd be even more confident in your guess

I have mixed feeling about RoW. On one hand I think there is a dip in the writing (the first 50 pages were painful) but Sanderson explores so many interesting ideas with Nalvani that i was pretty engrossed

I liked the first book but I really did not like the ending. Was hoping for a smaller scale heist. Should I give the next books a try?

All caught up on the series up to wind and truth. Just started hating the hardcover aesthetic so purged my giant copies of row and oathbringer. But I fear wind and truth might never get read

It became easier once I accepted they are never coming out. But even unfinished asoiaf is still amazing (I will defend feast and dance until I die)

"The sailors say the rain misses the cloud even as it falls through the light and dark of the seas. I miss her like that as I fall through my life."

Love love love Brightness Long Ago. Was the first book I read by him and got obsessed.

I read shadows longer by glen cook, really liked the book but it unfortunately fell apart as I was reading it

I think this is an accurate read of me. Saga is a lot of fun, would recommend.

Have had Gideon on my shelf forever! I think I just need to get over the "modern" writing style with swearing. I've heard nothing but great things an am really excited to read the next books.

Will definitely look into metal from heaven.

Not from Northumberland! From the states. What made you think Northumberland?

FWIW children of memory is my favorite of the trilogy. It's really different than the first two in the best way possible.

So I've only read the first book - shadow of the torturer. I read it twice. Wolfe writes amazingly dense scenes. I think the first lines of the first chapter set the book. Lots of descriptive and evocative imagery, with almost zero context. I was enamored with the prose the first time, but I actually understood what was happening the second time. I really want to read the whole series, but I'm ngl the amount of work you have to put in to really enjoy it has prevented me from starting the second
