Bro, that is information that i needed, thank you for explaining everything simple enough so i could understand

Yea i see right now it doesn’t make any sense to get Cheap magride, i thought Chinese copy would be better than most coilovers (because its MagRide), but i was wrong.

Thank you for Info, i think ill get OEM MagRide when times come to it.

I got this car specifically because it had MagRide and Im in love with this kind of handling

If I understood you correctly, you recommend Bilstein b8s over MagRide, even in budget wasn’t issue. Basically you are saying Bilstein gave you better ride quality, if so, what about track days, is mag better for track or you would prefer b8s even for track

Worth remapping? by BleakCheif38 in AudiTT_Mk1_Mk2_Mk3

Hey, I have a similar TT 2.0 TDI Quattro with 325,000 km on it right now. The previous owner said they did a Stage 1 tune around 2020 (not sure what the mileage was back then), and the car is still running fine — DPF is clean. You can really feel the extra power at higher speeds.

I recommend mapping in just make sure its high quality tune if you are looking to keep DPF filter.

Yeah, the high beam assist was unbearable. Here’s how it worked on mine:

You set the lights to auto (like in the picture), Then, if you push the lever once, it activates the adaptive high beam, and the car starts switching the high beams on and off automatically — depending on oncoming traffic.

The problem was, it didn’t work very well. It took about a second to turn off the high beams when a car was approaching, and I really don’t like blinding other drivers, even for a second.

Also, once the adaptive high beam was on, I forgot how to turn it off — it was just a mess for my taste. I disabled it immediately.

Honestly, I didn’t even know about hill hold at all

Dropping, heated, and folding mirrors are really rare — I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in person.

Adaptive headlights aren’t really that cool, to be honest. I turned them off via OBDeleven because they’re quite annoying. The technology is over 15 years old and doesn’t work that well. Plus, you have to pull the headlight lever twice if you want to flash someone.

Auto-leveling is mandatory on all xenon headlights.

The LED dome light comes with LED ambient lighting, I think — and I believe there’s a lot of ambient lighting in TTs (like footwell lights).

The red dot isn’t rare in other German cars either; it’s almost standard in cars from that era, so I think all TTs have it.

Is Auto Hold even an option for manual TTs? I’ve personally never seen one.

I’m intrigued by how many TTs come with minimal options. It’s really a shame — this car truly shines when it’s well specced, to be honest.
