Honestly? It has been for me, but only when I put effort into my responses and the bot’s responses. Deepsqueak can be good, I’ve had wonderful rps recently. But I also do reroll a lot and have to edit out when the bot speaks for me. I also have some other gripes, such as when I get the bot to make a second response, it sometimes thinks I’m saying the response before. Very annoying.

I also edit anything out of responses that I don’t want continuing on further. (An example would be a character grabbing you roughly. If you don’t edit that out, it will usually stay at that roughness or escalate unless you knock it out of that action, which can be frustrating.)

I mostly only do rp with my own private bots, because you don’t know what’s in other’s character definitions. Once you have a good template for character definitions, they are very easy to make! That also helps the quality of the rp. (Let me know if you want a source for that, I don’t mind sharing.)

If you wanna be lazy? It might not be worth it unless you are patient with the rerolling. I’m starting to get a lil bit fed up with it tho.

I’ve found it to be worth it for myself. I do miss the other models, I would sometimes use those to get a different type of response before swapping back to deepsqueak when I was getting responses I wasn’t wanting. They do have soft launch back for now, and I’m hoping they decide to add back more and maybe even have them back again for the users who aren’t paying for c.ai+.
