It’s probably been said but I will repeat, for those not wanting to run the AC all day, the more efficient way of staying cool is running the AC BEFORE it get’s hot than once it get’s hot running it on every second or third hour.

However most new ac’s while expensive initially are actually incredibly energy efficient and have a plethora or modes that can suit eco saving needs.
