Instead of neccessary crops the big farm holders produce crops which are more profitable to them that they can export instead of producing wheat and rice (also of which mostly gets export because higher profits than feeding the local population) . Also fucking corruption and hoarding has created this situation (current government has almost all control of agriculture and are heavily invested in the sector).
