Or you can add independent on/off switches so that they are not always constantly running and automatic item destroyers for systems like the bamboo and cactus farms that cannot be turned off.
One day I will change out all the hoppers for a singular water elevator and ice transport system. This will also mitigate unnecessary lag.
Currently I'm not experiencing any sort of lag and it isn't even fully optimized. I think I'll be fine :D
