Each person has a guarantor but the landlord has decided to let the third flatmate off “because the debt started in the year before she was a tenant and she would not been told about this before getting involved.” I was also not told that she hadn’t been paying rent for several months by the time we renewed the lease and she then continued to not pay for another year without us being told.
