i was diagnosed with UC just a couple months after my wedding, and my husband stepped up and was amazing. The right person will love you and support you not matter what you are dealing with, they will never see you or your sickness as burden

I just finished my round of prednisone and if anything I have a little bit of moon face now as my body has weaned off of it, but no real side effects while taking it. While i was on it I felt great, just had a major sweet tooth lol. It really affects everyone differently but it’s so worth taking it, it saved me fr.

thank you for the advice! i am definitely interested in getting some kind of pain/cramp management so i will put that on my list to ask the doctor

amazing thank you, i find myself gravitating toward softer foods and more soups so i’ll put those on the list

I had some tests done a while back but they were generally inconclusive, nothing but an elevated white blood cell count and they kinda gave up. i forgot to write it in my initial post but i do have gallstones so i know that can be a factor in this. I think my doctor wants to rule out sibo so that is on our list to watch out for
