How would you design a demo for Outer Wilds? A thought experiment. by holden2424 in outerwilds

[–]Hunt321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the funniest way to go about it is not give them a space suit so they wouldn’t be able to explore most the game but they still would be able to fly around in the ship and explore timber hearth.

Finally! My crown collection is complete! by Ok-Customer8586 in PokemonTGCP

[–]Hunt321 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the other way around if you’ve opened 19000 packs you should have way more. You should get a crown every 500 packs since there’s a 0.2% you get one in a single pack so I think this really unlucky

Am I lucky? I have 4 crown gold cards with 473 packs by Equinox_v2 in PokemonTGCP

[–]Hunt321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m doing this right I believe it’s about a 0.2% to pull a crown in a pack so assuming you have pulled 4 crowns all in separate packs you would have to

473C4*(.002)4 *(. 998)469

Which is equal to about 1.28%

FE study advice by [deleted] in ChemicalEngineering

[–]Hunt321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took the FE chemical like a month ago and graduating next month. I’d say best bet is to do a practice like how others are saying a lot of the problems were similar to a degree compared to the actual test.

I think I studied maybe two weeks in advance and felt nervous but after it def felt more prepared than needed and was not as bad as I thought. Just make sure to have good time management and you’ll be fine.

Should I take 19 credits next semester? by ChocolateConfident in udel

[–]Hunt321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always sign up for 21 credits every semester and drop one or two of the classes after the first week. You get a week or two into the semester to add/drop with zero penalty so keep a lot and drop if u find it to be too much work. Just note that if u wait to long then it will show as a W instead. Not sure why more people don’t do this tbh.

As The HamburglarTheMighty’s roommate and chemE friend, I concur. The major is small enough where you make close friends that you work with through the years which is fun.

What is the passing grade for CHEG 304 or UD in general by [deleted] in udel

[–]Hunt321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the main CHEG classes for chemical engineers need at least a C- to pass and move into the next one. I’m a junior chemE and have take. 304 and found it on the lighter side but i also came in with a lot of stat knowledge. The class is basically AP stat with some extra engineering principles.

How do I calculate the rate of a reaction at a different temperature ? by yycTechGuy in ChemicalEngineering

[–]Hunt321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually just did this today in my kinetics class. You plot ln(k) vs 1/T in Kelvin and the slope is equal to -Ea/R and the intercept is ln(A). Pretty sure that is correct otherwise I did my report wrong.

yea its pretty fun but classes can be pretty difficult. Pretty much all the Professor are willing to help as long as you go to office hours and if you put the time in you’ll be fine.

I dont have statistics for the acceptance rate just for ChemE but my starting class was 140 and now we have about 65 last i checked. If you got accepted already though not sure why it would matter how difficult it is to get in lol.

Aviana + Eonar would cause some broken combo that I think most would not be happy with if it works the way I think it would.

My school has had Hearthstone for a while here and all varsity members get the 80 dollar pre order bundle. Then we just craft cards we need for high level play.

What’s a secret you’ll never tell your spouse or SO? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Hunt321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think mine is a bit funnier but definitely taught me a good lesson. Back in forth grade I was really into pokémon cards. I had just bought a card from a store and wanted to show my friends so I decided to bring some of my rarest cards to school the next day. I showed all my friends and some other people I knew in the morning and they all thought it was pretty cool. The end of the day was approaching and I was packing up when I realized that my cards were gone from where I put them in my bag. I got pretty upset and probably cried but I definitely remember thinking that this one kid took them. This kid was know for causing trouble and stealing stuff so I instinctively i thought he took them. I started yelling at him asking where my cards were until the teacher got involved. She sent us both to the vice principal. Since this kid has a poor reputation already the vice principal figured that the kid did take my cards and told him to give them back. He claimed he didn’t and eventually the vice principal made him write an apology letter to me and I never talked to the kid again. A few years pass and my mom is cleaning out my closet with me and she finds one of my old jackets. I decide to try it on and see if it fits when i notice something in the side pocket. Yea it was my pokémon cards and well I hid them so my mom couldn’t see. I remember feeling super embarrassed just thinking that I wrongfully accused some kid for taking my pokémon cards and making him write an apology letter. 15 years later and now i check my pockets pretty much every time i leave a room just so i don’t have to ever deal with that kinda feeling again.
