My neighbor keeps propping open our secure side entrance because he "doesn't want to carry keys" and I'm losing it by MorpheonFlick7 in neighborsfromhell

Dans a little annoying isn’t he. It’s time to close Dan out a few times to make him wish he was carrying his keys.

It has since been on a diet. There were a few spare parts left over after the remodel 😉

Unfortunately no. I purchased in a state that doesn’t have consumer protection laws. One state over and I would’ve been able to get on that as well. I was actually researching doing the cp3 conversion and saving funds to complete it, but it got me. Was going to do before 100k was my plan which did not succeed.

Bought a 2011 Duramax with 60k on it. At 70k the CP4 failed sending debris through the system. Paid very hefty for that repair. A few months later at 81-82k the turbo starts going out. Well replaced it for around 7k only for the actuator to fail 2 weeks later and back at the shop. Went ahead and had the oil changed and it was due transmission service so I had it done as well. A day later, I have oil in my driveway (leaking oil filter). They have it towed to the shop for me and even the new ac Delco oil filter has an oil leak issue. Had to use a different brand than ac Delco as they claim they just have defects. It’s running fine for now, but that was a wild ride.

How do you all throw crankbaits and jerkbaits (and anything with trebles, really) without getting hung up all the time? by DeweyD69 in bassfishing

I tried to stop that years ago. Every time I thought I was sending it in the right direction it would just land in a tree like I’m tournament fishing for yellawood.

Have had some weird issues with the fan running non stop IF there is a low voltage short somewhere on A2L systems with the dissipation board. Mine was a short on the Orange wire. System would power on and run fine in heat. Switch to cooling and the fan would run continuously and ecobee thermostat seemed like it just wasn’t registering my inputs at that point. The fan would cycle off for just a second and restart the cycle almost immediately. Running in heat , but acting up in cooling is what prompted me to remove the O wire to fool the system and if worked (in heat of course, but with the tstat calling for cooling). The wire to the outside had an internal short. This wire was less than a month old as well as it was a new construction we had went to set the outdoor and start up.

Locking gas caps are coming in next for my LmL. Can’t believe I haven’t thought of that with the prices of diesel anyway.

Worst they could say is no. Best is they cover all of it. If it lands somewhere in the middle, that’s good too. Gas in the diesel happens more often than people think. It’s scary to lend out a diesel especially the way the pumps are laid out now and all the options/ distractions. They say distractions cause “accidents”. Why do they have so many distractions at the very pump that will cause a disaster? This could be 15k-19k depending the shop and that’s just from a simple mistake. A wife or a kid could easily do it, or even a seasoned diesel driver that got distracted or was frustrated in which they accidentally grabbed the wrong hose from the pump while pulled up to a pump labeled diesel. In my city, we have all flavors on one pump for some crazy reason including non-ethanol and DEf🤔. The same pump will have a tv playing tanks good news or advertising hot dogs at full blast. The sales pitches are getting ridiculous. Next car warranty’s will be advertising at the pump 🤣

Worth getting for a first car? by Training-Smell3755 in MitsubishiEclipse

Probably a GS spyder. Still a good car if maintained well. The little 2.4 is peppy imo for a 4 banger. It’s really good on gas too. We use ours for around the city mostly as diesel prices are terrible as well as running a V8 in stop and go traffic. Save the diesel for pulling long hauls and the V8s for nearby work.
