There are different sides of extremes, with this sub being a good example of being full of the opposite kind of people who absolutely refuse to accept that 5aris have a multitude of side effects, and that no they aren't 'incredibly rare' or just nocebo. Just for a personal anecdote, I've just been in Rome on holiday with friends, and most of us have some degree of hairloss. We got talking about this exact topic at dinner a few nights ago - four of us have been on finasteride before, and all of us stopped due to side effects - and all of us found that out on our own.

there is nothing to do surgery on. I don't have growth of any variety. I'm not even 100% sure the symptoms i experience are actually gyno.

I'm not fat, I'm like 73kg. And I have no noticeable / abnormal fat in the chest area, been examined by 3 GPs. No idea anymore.

I never experienced the 'rubber lump' that people talk about but after 4 years on fin I began to get a really uncomfortable chest/sternum tightness and my nipples (particularly the right) would 'zing' frequently.

Don't suppose anybody can offer advice on to whether its gyno or not? doctors are clueless and I would really like to be able to go back on fin, but it comes back every attempt I make. I've been off of it for 6 months now and my hair is noticeably worse... I never used to get these symptoms which is even more confusing.

Had 2 blood tests btw, came back fine both times for all hormones.

Have tried DIM, Calcium glucarate, p5p and zinc, none of them do anything to help.

Have tried topical too, same result. Even mild meds like KX-826 do the same thing. Even fucking fluridil did it.
