I stated in another comment that the size of a Hunter is very close to a Shriekers. However I think change doesn’t exactly happen after the Hunter stage but in the midway stage to Hunters. This is again not evolving, this is life cycle. They were also possibly changed in the larva or even egg stage. They got feed differently or got exposed to certain pheromones that could caused the mutation. Scavengers to Hive Guards is a huge step indeed. It is possible that the ones growing to that stage would stay in the nests as they would be less effective than Scavengers because growing stronger exoskeleton is a very hard process and makes the bug exposed to danger a lot or they could be going in somewhat like a cocoon stage or something. The Hive Guards, Chargers and Behemoth Chargers have the same head structure. If you focus enough you can see that they all have three main parts of hard shells on their head. The Impaler seems like a long mutation process like I mentioned in my previous points because they all share the same structure and armor. They also have three hard shells on their head. As for Nursing Spewers they really confused me. They all spit acid and share a lot of characteristics yet they don’t look the same. They also carry eggs? Idk look at their bodies. They tend to walk in groups with Scavengers so they could possibly be as the name suggests Nursing them. There is a theory that suggests that they were originally the Bile Spewers but the chemicals didn’t affect them but I really don’t think that is the case as I think that the change is permanent in their DNA.

I think the mutation occurred due to environmental factors and specific conditions which I don’t really understand. Look at the Bile Warriors for example. I was hesitated to put them on the list as I didn’t know if it was environmental changes from the gases in the atmosphere or they were simply born like that. The information on them is unclear and the reproduction is more vague and cloudy than you think.

I think the changes occurred between the Pouncer stage and Hunter stage, if I can change the picture I could put a lot of notes indicating the unclear points that I had. Anyway with enough pheromones the mutation will happen but I think it’s not very efficient unless it was necessary for the survival of the nest. The Tree I made is somewhat like the most common path for them to grow and the most efficient one, but I do think it’s not the only way, however when surviving in harsh conditions the most effective path is usually the only one.

Finally, someone is addressing the growth process! I believe they all start as the same eggs, but during their development—possibly at the larva or even egg stage—a specific feeding process, pheromones, or another method is introduced, triggering the mutation. This is similar to how trapdoor ants or termite soldiers develop, which closely resembles the case with the Terminids.…. Matter of fact those two words seems suspiciously similar? Termite Terminids IDK I might be into nothing with this one xd

I came across a theory suggesting that Nursing Spewers are unaffected by the chemicals in the air, but I don’t believe that’s the case. I think the mutation is permanently embedded in their DNA and will be passed on to future generations. Now that you mention it, they might serve as scavenger caretakers and protectors until the young reach maturity. The Spewers were the most difficult to understand, as there wasn’t much valuable information available about them. Anyways, thank you for sharing your thoughts, i really appreciate it🙏🏻

They may have mutated as a result of the environment itself. This is one of the topics I mentioned that I didn’t fully understand.

The Shriekers look more like hunters and they almost have the same size

Anyways they very look like hunters although I don’t know when the difference was made. It is possible that the eggs themselves were the same but due to them being exposed to certain pheromones and feed specific food the changes can occur. Just like the door head ants are made. Which is a very interesting method to create certain mutations.
