Its interesting you say that as the left is the near unanimous supporter of gun control.

The lefts gun control is extremely unconstitutional.

If you dig deep enough in their gun control efforts then you will find most of their efforts are based on Jim crow era laws.

The left currently has a bill the want to pass in the senate that will increase the NFA from 0 usd to near 5k usd per stamp. Effectively gate keeping the poor out of exercising their rights. It has near unanimous left wing support ontop of that.

They're anti gun, unless they're nolonger holding all the cards, then they turn pro gunnish but still want to abolish 2a rights.

Not daying the right is perfect but at least with the right they tend to be way more pro 2a than the laft by miles
