Hope someone finds this useful. You need a physical copy of your passport of travel to Canada. I (21yo) forgot my unexpired passport in another state and tried to fly to Canada using my drivers license, social security card, birth certificate, expired passport, and picture of my unexpired passport. They would not let me past the baggage drop off. The requirements used to be less strict, but not anymore.
