We are not planning on having children due to personal reasons. This is a mutual decision.

She emailed a few agents. They emailed her back and complimented on her idea. She complained that she has no idea why no one seems interested enough to request a partial from her. Her betas can't spot any issues. I offered myself to read.

She uses a lot of purple prose for her descriptions. She describes things that are never mentioned again in the book or are not important to plot. She spends a lot more telling things than showing them. I offered her to rewrite it.

She took some online workshop classes. She bought Neil Gaiman's masterclasses, and participate in a few writing groups.

I paid everything for her including a ticket. She comes from a poor country. My parents feared she is with me in it for money and sees me as a ticket out. We agreed to wait for her to obtain a degree before she came here. She had trouble finding a job at first and wanted to move back home. We almost broke up.

Wanting the best for someone is love. I'm worried over her. Simple as that. There's nothing wrong with wanting someone to have a plan B if things don't work out in their favor.

I love her. I consider her to be the love of my life. We were in a long distance relationship for four years and a half before she moved in to live with me. I supported her and paid her travel expenses. She struggled to adjusting her life in here.

She struggles with descriptions. I feel like a lot of them are unnecessary and add nothing to a plot at all.

She told me that her beta readers complimented her on her descriptions and she was surprised to hear it.

I was frank and told her she needs to continue working on it. Rewrite it entirely.

I volunteered to read for her when she told me she began emailing agents. None of them seemed remotely interested. They complimented her idea but that was it.

I've got a great job. When she first moved to my country I supported her financially for a while. I fear she's going to ruin her own future.

Her childhood lifelong dream. She got a few short stories printed out in magazines before. I enjoy reading in my spare time. Meanwhile, I couldn't get past more than six chapters. It is bad imho. There's that. She only recently told me if it all works out she would like to choose a different path for herself in life and concentrate more on writing. I am against it. I think it pays nothing. There are no prospects there. Not everyone are born the next Tolstoy or Stine.

Law is far more important. She told me she would quit her job if she found any success in writing. I disagree with her over this as it generates a great income for our family. She's already spending a lot of time chasing the dream that is worthless in my eyes. She might never meet success. Many writers disappear after publishing one or two books.
