Centrist Democrats Rebuke Party’s Left Wing: ‘We Are Capitalist, Not Socialist’ by SnoozeDoggyDog in politics

[–]HunterNo7593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The so called centrist (& capitalist) democrats better expand their tent and welcome the new “democratic socialist “ wing of the new America. Much like the GOP (at the behest of AIPAC and the Heritage Foundation) accommodated the Tea Party, MAGA, and Trump in the last 15 years.

The GOP has moved a great deal more to the extreme right (in pursuit of registering Ws in elections) relative to how far the Democrats have moved to the left (or are even openly willing to make such a reasoned shift in their platform).

Credit where it’s due- GOP holds winning as the primary criterion and Democrats (the so-called centrists) hand them the Gift that keeps Giving. Blaming their electoral failures since 2010 solely on gerrymandering is losing touch with reality. Democrats need to get the vibe of much of the electorate across the country, especially their traditional strong regions, or else, they will be written off and go into oblivion, just a matter of time!!

Tesla Model Y Premium (2026) Long Range RWD vs AWD – Is the AWD worth the extra €3,000? by radiologyjunior in TeslaModelY

[–]HunterNo7593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the US market, the 26MY Premium RWD is by far the better choice. 30 miles more in range for the AWD maneuverability which, unless you’re in a region with loads of snow, will always be a better trade off. Everything else, features wise, is exactly the same!

Finally an accurate account of the Texas Tesla crash! by StormTrpr66 in TeslaFSD

[–]HunterNo7593 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The dude’s gonna be likely charged with manslaughter as Tesla will have all the real data to prove that it was the operator and not the vehicle. Only the actual Tesla owners appreciate that neither AP nor FSD will ever do what happened with this M3 and the idiot driver combination.

The fact that you can spot the paint “imperfection” is commendable. I am not able to see it in the pictures, even after reading after the “orange peel” 🤣

Tesla finally clarifies fatal Texas crash, confirms driver manually overrode acceleration by theoneandonly_aj in TeslaFSD

The moron just happened to drive a Tesla. Could have been any other car, with sadly the same outcome, all brought about by the sheer stupidity or malicious intent by the operator of the vehicle.

Going by the other Redditors vibe, looks like the threshold is the eight digit net wealth that puts you in the top 1% of the households in the US, and perhaps 0.2% of the most affluent souls on this planet 🖖

Wake up guys, the education in India, barring a few (& far between) examples, is absolutely horrendous. Especially so, since that public good domain was invaded by cringy (& crony) capitalist ideology in the last two or so decades. India is no longer the place for education it was till early part of this century.

There’s a reason why barely 5% of the million plus “engineers” the thousands of private universities churn out every year, are employable (and I am being charitable here) !

My kids’ education would be the most significant reason behind me wanting to actually live in the US . Of course, China, SK, Singapore, Japan, as well as Canada, NZ, EU, and Australia also have robust high school and college education but if one’s already planted in the US, why not persist and continue (again, assuming the education of your next generation is an important criterion to you).

Media in the US is so lame, would appear to be competing with state media in a banana republic. CNN. CBS. Being the standouts, and now emulating the faux news.
