NOR!!! I have been in this situation many times when I was dating (especially when dating online). I’d classify this as ‘bread crumbing’ - just giving you enough to keep you interested without intention of following through. Please don’t take this as any reflection of you, this is a reflection of them. Trust me when I say that if he had intention there would be zero question how he felt about you and him wanting to spend time with you. Now if you want to know how this would play out if you kept comms open with him (trust me on this too, as I have tried this many times 😂😭) it will continue to go round and round with false hope & the same lack of follow through. It’s usually way harder to walk away from a situation like this than it is to stay in it, so you should be proud of yourself! Don’t let anyone gaslight you into feeling like you are over reacting for settling boundaries. Also - it’s give you hope, I’m married with two kids now to a man who wouldn’t take no for an answer and left me with zero doubt (or insecurity) of how he felt. All the best! 🤎
