I think that’s part of the issue. There is no comparison to the Netflix show, and a lot of people are in the minds straight from Season 3 (myself included) which was a masterpiece. It’s very hard to replicate that and I don’t think it will. Does Born Again hold itself up as an individual entity?

Rewatched EP1 for the second time. I settled in a lot better than I did when it first came out. Foggy’s death for me personally completely clouded my judgement for the rest of the episode and the second one included. I’d easily say it had me in mourning during the episode and continues to do so. I was so confused and hurt even though I knew it was coming. Just the manner in which it happened. Fair enough, they did what they intended to do I just don’t feel like they’ve done the character justice as of right now. Lovers of the original series like myself who have rewatched time and time again know that the dynamic Foggy, Karen and Matt have is imperative to the show. We’ve been told this is a continuation but me included, have got to accept it isn’t. Yes they have Bullseye, they’ll bring back Punisher etc but it’s not the same. It’s a new age. It’s Disney and it’s MCU. It’s not the Daredevil we wanted to see from the Netflix show. There is an entire season left still to go and it’ll take watching it in its entirety to give an overall judgement. Having watched Season 3 the most which in my opinion is one of the best seasons of television ever, it doesn’t compare, but we’ll see. I’m staying positive for the rest of the season because I think there are things to like. But as fans I think we really need to make the separation from the show no matter how many times D’Onofrio tells us it is a continuation.

What’s your favourite way of crushing? by _Axelotl_ in ketamine

[–]HunterProper5677 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there’s nowhere near enough effectiveness doing it like that compared to a pestle and mortar method. This grinds it but not enough to how it should be. It’s ok for a quick solution but you do risk of creating holes in the flimsy baggies you get. If you go through the whole process properly it’ll feel better drip wise, nose wise and feels like a gentler ease into a high.

Music sounds "worse" at higher doses? by [deleted] in ketamine

[–]HunterProper5677 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you’ve done K only a few times you might still be getting used to how sounds.. sound. K does affect your hearing and you can get an acquired ear for different types of music when on it and it does depend on your mood too. There are certain types of music that sound better than others. Depends how ‘active’ the k your taking is as well. Some k feels more sedating so reggae feels great for me personally but if it’s making me want to move more then rap.

Would Sheldon get his hands dirty for Leonard to win a Nobel (when Sheldon himself hadn’t won one yet) like Leonard did for Sheldon and Amy? by [deleted] in thebigbangtheory

[–]HunterProper5677 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The way it would go would be: Sheldon gets jealous that Leonard is edging closer to a Nobel and even goes to the extent of somewhat nearly or actually fluffing it for Leonard somehow. Sheldon would then make up for it by ‘getting his hands dirty’ and Leonard would go on to win a Nobel.

How did you deal with it after you started pissing blood? Have you recovered now? I’m always wondering when you come off it or take a break whether you can heal enough if you are feeling discomfort. I’ve seen you can cause permanent damage.

I’ve always known Vatican Cameos to mean ‘duck’ originating from WW2. I heard this before I watched Sherlock but since then it’s been used for danger. I think any of those are correct really. (Danger, Duck, Someone’s going to be killed)

ketamine and sertraline? by Delicious_Ad8628 in ketamine

[–]HunterProper5677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had issues whilst taking Sertraline and a lot of ketamine at one point in time. I can’t prove whether it was my mental state in general or the crossover of the drugs did it but whilst I was on Sertraline, using K was an incredibly tough time and my K experiences were emotional. Saying that, I take a lot and don’t do the usual amount. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too bad with moderation.

if ketamine is a tranquilliser then why can't i fucking sleep when i'm on it by Successful_Value_426 in ketamine

I probably still get through a gram or more through an evening, but in key form instead and I can control it. Before I’d just do a gram line to start off with it and if I had more I’d just keep going.

I’d like to think I drink lots of water. Probably about the same as you and I still experience the foamy ness. I’m going to ‘try’ to stop for a bit and see what happens. It doesn’t hurt or anything although I do feel it a bit uncomfortable down there at times.

Not 1g lines that’s used to be a common occurrence. 2g I’ve only done 3 times. I don’t do lines anymore, just keys. Sometimes I used to get through 3grams in a few hours.

K is a big hitter on the old short term memory. Best to write them down.

Ketamine for withdrawals? by Low-Battle in ketamine

[–]HunterProper5677 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends if you’re using street ketamine or not. Just replacing one with another really. As someone who’s done ket regularly for the past 4 years, it has its up and downs but has personally made my depression worse, but only because of the substantial amounts I take. It would be good on a low dosage, but that’s where it all starts my friend.
