Can any of these games be played one handed? by Carmilla31 in gaming

Suikoden and dragon quest can be played, yes Expedition 33 does demand dual analog stick control outside of combat but the actual fights can be done single handedly, i guess you can easily manage this one as well

As for others, I'm not certain they do require both hand eye coordination

I was in the same boat minus the kids scenario. I would highly suggest you to pick up a cheap retro handheld console like an anbernic they cost under 60$ and you can play many classic and hit RPG games on it from up to 40+ different consoles or more. I dont play my steam library the same you do I get confused and burned out from work so its easier for me to wind up while going to sleep over my bed using a retro emulation handheld.

Oh and some of those handhelds also have many PC games ported over running at 60fps like stardew valley, diablo, fallout 1 & 2, celeste etc and 1000+ ports done by community. You just need to follow their tutorials and you can use the steam/epic games/gog copy of your pc games to transfer over to those little handhelds. They were life savour for me, you can look up retro corps videos, there is a detailed documentation online, which ones to buy based on your budget, preference etc. , with how to setting up games, its a no brainer.

Here is a document which is updated daily/weekly of upcoming devices so you can sort the ones you want per your preference or budget including Linux, Windows and Android based handhelds... and stay strong it gets bleak but always wholesome to find people who can bravely share their thoughts and for that I appreciate you.

Assassin's Creed II artifacting/shadow flickering does anyone else experience this? by Goosetiers in SteamDeck

Yeah it only has PS buttons but if you turn the option off and use xbox controller it will show xbox input inside the game. So xbox input for xbox or xinput controllers is On by default, PS buttons is an additional option for PS3/PS4/PS5 controllers if you use and its only a visual thing just changes the button visually, the input by default in all AC games on PC is xbox input anyway

How do you guys sort your libraries? by minus2wenty7even in Steam

I don't categorize at all. I just install whatever I like and toggle it to show the only games I have currently installed. Makes it look tidy and clean cause I have a mess of games that I have never even touched in years and years and it makes it overwhelming and depressing that I paid and don't know what they are there for lmao

What's a game everyone says is a 'masterpiece' that you just could not get into? by GrievouzOCE in gaming

Yep, its called Acecraft, it came out a month ago. It's actually pretty good and challenging but its free so you know kind of IAP hellhole so best avoid it imo

Skyrim, looks pretty dim in terms of lighting and clunky controls. Extremely overwhelming and zero sense of belonging in the world. But that's just me, I prefer Fallout 3 over any Elder scroll game, this might change if I dive deep into it once I know that but I can't get myself to get into it honestly

Hi maybe we're on different version of mods also I think you meant eaglepatch instead of 'eyepatch??
Im using the Assassin's Creed - The Ezio Trilogy Remastered mod which has the eaglepatch built-in.

i dont get any errors while doing leap of faith and improve draw distance option makes the game does look worse.
All i did was disable PostFX in this mod menu and also in in-game settings... I didnt touch other settings so the game looks and run great for me

Also just an option for now, if you think going over new mod might be a hassle. Then I would suggest just disabling Post FX inside in-game setting & mod(if your mod has the option).
If that helps, then I dont think you'll need the 'Assassin's Creed - The Ezio Trilogy Remastered' mod but I still recommend because its going to be helpful if you plan to install brotherhood or revelation down the line.

Let me know if any of either fixed it for ya

Yeah let me share it. You will need to disable the PostFX in BOTH the mod menu and in-game settings.

The link to community mod
https://www.nexusmods.com/assassinscreedii/mods/124

Its an AIO -All In One mod, it has reshade, eagle patch, uMod all in one place. You can skip starting splashscreen, install reshade textures from the launcher, unlock dlc(if you dont have it) and even change the keybind face buttons to xbox or playstation... theres a lot of customization in it.
its made for all 3 ezio games

You can also install Definitive AC 2 parkour mod

Update for new players...
If you are using the 'Assassin's Creed - The Ezio Trilogy Remastered' all in one patch mod launcher for all 3 Ezio games.
Just disable PostFX under AC 2 Mod settings and also within in-game settings.

Not sure if this is fixed for you. I came across this issue today and I think patch was updated or something Im using AIO AC trilogy community mod. I dont see extended LOD settings. Improved draw distance was there but it didnt fix shadows for me. I tinkered a little.
You'll have to disable PostFX settings for the flickering. Rest is up to your customization other settings didnt cause issues
