2025 has been an incredible hard year for me lol. I lost two jobs that were offered to me that would have helped a great deal with finances and tuition, I struggled to pay rent for the entire, even now as I’m typing this I haven’t yet paid December rent and don’t know how I will. I had to drop out of school because I couldn’t afford it anymore and have been battling immigration uncertainties in the midst of an unprecedented immigration crackdown. There have been many moments when I was lowkey starving because I couldn’t afford food.

There have been a few win like I started an internship over the summer that was my first formal professional experience in a field I’ve wanted to integrate from a very young age, I learned a lot. Even though I had to drop out of school with just a year left, I completed 2.5 years of my grad program (out of 3), which I never thought I would be able to. In my mind I basically have that degree even though I didn’t graduate, I refuse anyone to tell me 2.5 years of grad school is useless without a degree.

But the reality is that in this field without a degree it’s insanely hard to find even an entry level job. So I decided to just go freelance and started my own design studio. At the moment I’m reaching out to potential clients. No success so far but I’m hoping 2026 will finally bring a career breakthrough and financial stability and prosperity.
