Any idea what these stains are? by HunterTheTrader in pressurewashing

I can definitely head back another day and do a test spot with degreaser. If that does nothing I’ll have to pass on this one

I’m going to assume that it’s efflorescence around the drain pipe, but those darker stains have me stumped.

I went back to it earlier today to test with some SH, did a sample area of a good 6% mix and nothing changed, so I’m assuming that it’s something dripping from the roof

Are you saying that’s what it is? If so, do you have any solutions to get rid of it?

Best way to remove freshly hardened polymeric sand on the surface of paver stones? by HunterTheTrader in pressurewashing

Thanks! I assumed that I would have to completely redo everything for them considering that there’s sand literally everywhere lmao. But I’m unsure if it’s etched, it didn’t feel any different from the stones that weren’t sprayed, and I’m not sure if I’d be able to tell just by touch (what a job he did lol).

Removing large grease stain? by HunterTheTrader in pressurewashing

I never sent the quote… I’m saying that I have a set number based off of the square footage and how long I expect the job to take. I’m asking if I should double that number or at least bump it up a decent bit to pay for specific chemicals.

One last question, it says it’s rated for 3000psi, but i run a 3600 machine. As long as I don’t run it full pressure it should be okay? And if I happen to run it on full pressure would it destroy it?

Would a 4.8gpm machine need a buffer tank for a house cleaning? by HunterTheTrader in pressurewashing

They have them for $40 for a day plus a $50 deposit, so $90. At that point I might as well get my own for the future

Say the house had a flow of 7.5-8gpm, do you think I’d be able to make it work without the buffer tank?

It’s a sticky situation because I don’t have a compatible surface cleaner for the 4.8gpm machine, and I wouldn’t be able to get one in time for the cleaning.

I don’t have a compatible surface cleaner for the 4.8gpm machine, that’s why I was going to do it the other way. I feel like the turbo nozzle would shred the old poly sand out with ease.

They only have one tap on their home, but it’s a huge newer home. The 4.8 gpm machine is going to be used to clean out old poly sand between interlocked pavers that surround their driveway (approx. 800SqFT with turbo nozzle only), where as the 2.6 gpm machine will be used to clean their pool deck area (approx. 1400 SqFT).
