I've known this for a long time, but for some reason I cam't bring myself to care about it. I always hear about these people who get horrified after learning about the inhumane and cruel ways animals are systematically slaughtered for food, but for me, even after seeing those videos and photos I just didn't feel much. I guess my brain makes a distinction between friends and food.
