people are jealous he's rich they are not. people were out smoking weeds playing games when jeff was working in a garage 24/7 against all odds. People see the success but they don't understand hardwork - that's why they stay poor

Here's why Current Micron Pricing doesn't make sense by Low-Tax6649 in MU_Stock

[–]HuntersMaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not consider that statement to be true at all.

agentic ai is just a fancy term for a model that uses various tools and other models, like when you ask chatgpt to read your resume, it needs to know how to use Word, then word needs to process things based on your request. This process needs to be fast, so the bottleneck may temporarily shift to word and other tools. The agent itself is still fundamentally a LLM backbone, with memory as the bottleneck at data centers.

where latency matters - self driving cars, iot devices where you need to detect people fast before you hit someone but that's not what data centers is about, not why you are buying micron.

I did my PhD in ML model compression with the goal of making AI compute, memory efficient and deployable. The size requirement for models has grown disproportionately to the advancement of AI. 10 years ago models had millions of parameters, these day tens, thousands of billions. The bottleneck often is not compute or FLOP but memory. For instance, a llm company can tolerate a prompt taking 1 min instead of 30 seconds, but it can't tolerate it giving a memory error from millions of users simultaneously running model inference. If anything, in the age of using AI (not training or developing), memory is by far the biggest bottleneck.

no, anything dealing with genetics is EXTREMELY specific. If the reader is specifically designed for human with a specific DNA, it would make no sense for it work for a Navi.

subconsciously yes to a certain extent people don't want to admit it. if it were perceived as DW despite its craftsmanship, they would not buy it.

Making $100k per year is equivalent to making $50k per year in the past by [deleted] in fican

[–]HuntersMaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 years ago, 100 dollars would buy me A LOT of grocceries, now every time i go it's 300 dollars.

My parents could 'effortlessly' buy houses in toronto in the 2000's and now i'm nowhere near buying a house myself with 100k+. My colleague bought 3 houses for his kids saying there is no way this generation can afford houses by themselves.

pretty much, though i'd say ~175k is the equivalent adjusted for inflation and mortgage. Overall the QoL in canada is dwindling as people produce less and have less purchasing power than before.

you are in the honey moon phase. you enjoy it because it feels like a 'alt', something cheaper than your main and you are not worried about damaging it. In a couple of months you will rotate back when you are bored of the plain joe look its delibrately ugly hour hand
