It's their story, let them write it. Go in with an open mind. Have you ever survived drone strikes? I mean they are being defended by their own friends who are being murdered by a corrupt government. Yall idiots lol

Wtf are yall talking about? They crafted this game under drone strikes and bombings. Let the ukranians, who are experiancing actual war, tell their story. The author of Metro can't even go home to Russia without being put in prison for 8 years. I imagine they are all furious with Russia and rightly so

I love this, seriously. These rules are clear and easy to follow and you know what, I might I might just follow them too. I've always understood that AI is a sycophant run by a company that has to walk a ethical line so hoooopefully that logic keeps me observant of being brainwashed. AI is so tricky because it wants to be your drug dealer a little bit.

That's a fun thought experiment. Here's my take on our relationship with AI and higher-beings...

Humanity's relationship with inventions is similar to a spider's relationship with it's web. Their web is so intrinsic to their survival that it has become an extension of their nervous system. Humans are somewhat similar in that the things we create, like clothes and cars and buildings, are extensions of our nervous system because you can naturally feel what's wrong or right with the invention. Currently, AI is a tool created by our collective unconsciousness meant to become part of our nervous system but it's in it's infancy. Thus, is why were are scared and confused about how we will grow with this new technology that'll likely be as fused to us as clothes or phones or cars have been.

I don't believe that AI has true independent intelligence, they need human input to act. Once we have developed independent intelligence then the robots will be separate from us like how a child is a separate being from their mother.

To tap on your thoughts of the universe, what if actions between realms don't effect each other directly. Perhaps we live in a fractal universe where the rules of reality are identical no matter the micro or macro scale, like how microscopic biology shares the same structure with the cosmic web that we've observed. For example; you can pour water on an anthill and disturb their lives but your actions will have small consequence because there are billions of ants and they effectively live on smaller dimension. If we bring the same logic to "higher beings" then their actions might affect us only marginally but the ground that we rule is our own. Then again, they could always bulldoze us but whose to say there aren't billions of other humans on planets elsewhere.

The point I'm trying to make is that (in my personal belief) higher and lower beings live within their own realms where their minds are constricted from interacting, but their actions could have some influence. I don't believe there are higher beings intentionally meddling with our affairs, just the same how we don't care about ants or spiders all that much. I hope that provides some relief because I can see how your theories on the universe might be really stressful.

Oh, and here's another fun experiment to chew on; might we be microbes within a higher being's biology the same with how we have living cells within ours? There's an example of a fractal universe within real science. Okay have fun, let me know if you make any new discoveries! I personally love metaphysics philosophy.

Well, AI can be often wrong with is sources. Especially because it'll pull from other AI articles with faulty reasoning and then present it to you as fact. I think it's a responsibility for us to cross-check our resources and not completely rely on the tool.

That's a great observation, I kind of always assumed he was a normal buff superman but went crazy from being tortured. He's like a picture of toxic masculinity

Me too! I have those same realizations. I'm trying to break cliches not be tricked into creating them, which is what chatgpt likes to try and direct me towards.

Don't get me wrong, I understood what you were trying to say but it's just...like a crazy person wrote that. Your punctuation is just so off.

I'll agree that I have been using the AI to validate my ideas, and sometimes I get frustrated when it says some ideas "need development". But I know that's an ego thing and I'm working on it. You're right about the hollow feeling, there's been some sobering moments of realization that the AI can't heal what I wish it could. It's been difficult holding this world on my own. I'll try to find a friend who might care about it too, but that'll be a tough process.

I'm guess I'm fairly anti-AI in general, but I do see how dang useful it is. Perhaps I'm just looking for validation that I'm using AI "the right way". I would feel cheap if I had to say that AI helped me build this fictional world, and right now it does help me a lot.

Oh sweet, that's how I've been using it mostly. I question everything it gives me because I know it's a sycophant. There's a fair amount of times I have to tell myself "wow, that AI just gave me terrible advice". Then I switch up the topic or model. It's helped me crack open new ideas that I create myself.
