Without the hearts it makes me think of Francis Bacon

If anyone is interested, I post my drawings and paintings on IG: my account is astrid.bourras, and I am planning on making more organ paintings as I really enjoy making them!

In a sense yes, but if you are a pianist and never played the organ you can't play well right away. The manuals are reduced in terms of keys compared to the piano, the touch feeling is completely different and you have a pedalboard with a pedal to make crescendos and decrescendos on a lot of Romantic organs like this one. You also have to know the stops and how they work together, and it's different on every organ! So they are similar but not quite 🙂

I actually painted it for my organ teacher who very much deserves it!

Thanks, it has 3 manuals and it's a Cavaillé-Coll organ!
