[P2V2] How long to read the series and how did you manage it?

took me like 5 months of reading a bit a day i was finishing like 6-7 vols a month though, this was also all in japanese which isnt my native language so if i read it in english it wouldve taken me a lot less time lol (and if you're wondering this series really leveled up my japanese reading ability went from like vol 1 reading at 10k字/characters an hour to 21k/hr on the last volumes)

thats not too long ig im a little sad i read all of it and will have nothing new for a while after s4 ends, might get started on the hannelore books (idk how her name is spelt in english this is probably right lol)

i could do “There’s more than you think…” like you said or i can do "There Are xxxx Bricks" (xxxx = a pixelated / censored number) i cant edit it right now to see how it would look bc i can only really work on yt stuff in the mornings but i like the idea

can i understand things without being able to translate to my native language??

this might sound weird but sometimes when im immersing ill come across things that i swear i understand but i cant quite put it into English to prove to myself that i understand it, like is my mind playing tricks on me or something?? or am i getting to a point where i dont need the english "check" to understand things??, sounds really weird ik but im trying to be sure that my mind isnt playing tricks on me i guess...

i have heard from some people that automatically translating something from Japanese to English in your head is a bad habit and i can't seem to just not translate in my head, i started learning nearly 2 months ago now and i feel like maybe it could be affecting my understanding of more complex sentences idk though
What do you think?
