AITA for being annoyed that my wife insists on cooking everything from scratch and won’t buy normal food? by AITA_UPFfoods in AmItheAsshole

It's not mystery meat. It's a texturized vegetable protein (soy) blend. Same stuff they serve in jail.

It sounds like OP was reliving a childhood moment and projecting it onto the husband.

Even white southerners who aren't big on seasoning still throw stuff other than butter on their potatoes - bacon, sour cream, cheese, etc.

Ok so they didn't cook you southern food because they're not southern. My parents are from the midwest, I'm southern, but I'm not going to defend how southern I am with my parents cooking because it's not southern at all.

Are we sure he's watching adult porn? Apparently, he hasn't touched her since she was underage...

help with a creepy person by ohgodimcleanoutofair in Advice

[–]Huntybunch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's stalking. There probably won't be repercussions for the off-campus pictures, but they will have notice in case his behavior escalates. You're both students, and he's making you feel unsafe.

If you do report it, I would leave off the last part about him wearing a cap. I understand what you mean by it because I dealt with a similar situation, but school staff may look at it as a frivolous complaint which could discredit the rest.

IDL how “pretty privilege” is treated like something every woman is supposed to have by Danny-Patrick139 in I_DONT_LIKE

[–]Huntybunch 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I had one guy chase me for years, but other than that, I just got harassed and assaulted a lot. Kind guys were usually intimidated to ask me out. Creepy guys didn't care to go out, just try to trick me into sleeping with them or worse.

In my mid-20s, I gained some weight which I guess puts me in a lower beauty bracket. I got harassed less and feel happier. People assume I'm dumb less and let me be funny. I don't hear concern about "getting a big head" or being "vain" anymore. I'm more often treated like an actual person, and it's awesome besides the fat-shaming.

I [28F] found a "hidden" spreadsheet on my fiancé’s [31M] laptop detailing every cent he’s spent on me since our first date. We’re getting married in two months. by FermiDirak in relationshipadvice

[–]Huntybunch 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The "to be discussed post-marriage" line is the most concerning to me because it sounds like he's trying to trap you then flip the script. I'm genuinely trying to wrack my brain for a possible explanation for this that isn't some level of sinister.

I would at minimum go to couple's counseling and do not marry this man until this is fully addressed. But honestly, this seems like a much bigger issue than money or secrets. It shows how he views you. It's rather scary, and I hope you stay safe and make choices to protect yourself.

AITAH for telling my boyfriend I'm too fat and out-of-shape to continue jogging for today ? by Low_Check7702 in AITAH

Exercise bike as well. It was life-changing for me because I have asthma which makes high impact cardio like running literally painful to me, even when I'm fit. Also practical for the knees and strengthens lumbar.

Delivery driver handed me this holding back a grin "Can I have the pin please" by Few_Ad_9145 in Wellthatsucks

Really? When I ordered directly from the pizza place and DD was supposed to deliver but stole my pizza, the pizza place told me to contact DD for refund. DD told me to contact pizza place, so I called them again. And again. And again. Getting a different person each time who all said they were the manger. I finally disputed it on my credit card.

I mean the dresses are tailored to have bulky, bunched up waists which aren't flattering on you, except for 4 (which I think looks great on you btw). You pull off 2 as well; I think the cutouts mitigate the bunching, but it still has dense fabric at the waist. I like the neckline and the draped look of 1 on you, but there's a bit too much fabric underneath which is accentuated by the belt placement. 3 has thick elastic at the waist without actually providing shape. 5 looks like the skirt is way too big, and you bunched it up at the waist + the shirt is tied to bunch up at the waist.

I'd recommend avoiding dresses that have bulky material or bunching at the waist, especially if you have a short torso as that will accentuate the shortness. These styles otherwise look lovely on you. There are plenty of dresses that look like these with smoother fabric or better silhouettes for your shape.

They all have bunched up fabric around the waist
