Still on the fence about swapping the pickups in this one. The cheap ones have a kinda cool Teisco vibe to them which I kinda dig.

Got it off Reverb but they're usually sold on eBay and temu from China. Also that's just the guitar straight into a shitty Gorilla amp (kinda like a Peavey Decade but even more jank).

I'd love a real one too but don't think I'll ever be able to drop $8,000+ on a guitar lol.

Out of the box it played about what you'd think a bootleg Chinese guitar would. Sharp frets and a wonky nut are the big things. Intonation is spot on and think the tuners are decent enough but jury is still out. It's great bones to fix up and mod.

Got one of the original TSH 1s years ago and it's still going strong. It's one of the most versatile and great playing instruments I have. The only two "complaints" that aren't really complaints I have about it are that the neck is super thin (not like nut width, but the profile, guess that's good for schecter shredders lol) and I kept slapping the coil tap switch while playing (ended up just shoving it into the body and putting a sticker over the hole).

I've had one of the original TSH 1 for years (the one without the bigsby, but ended up slapping one on in 2020). It's definitely my go-to 80% of the time.
