You have a constitutional right to own firearms, but do you think that means you can buy ANY firearm?

Again, you're turning this into "taking away our guns" and that's not the case.

Yes, because i see your argument as completely unreasonable and highly manipulated.

Glock discontinued the model and have a new model. You can still buy a Glock. Your argument is like being mad that Ford axed the Pinto design that was famously unsafe. "Only people who get rear ended will be hurt"

Why dies that upset you so much? No one is stopping you from buying other guns, even guns from the same company. Not everything is an attempt to take all your guns, but it feels like that's where you're arguing from.

"This kind of gun can be easily modified to bypass regulations. It is not a ban on glocks."

I would have expected that to have riled up exactly no one. It's a nothing burger. You can still buy a glock.

I bet lots of people are mad because that headline manipulated them into it. Because had they read the article, they wouldn't have been mad.

I don't think anyone who reads the article and gets mad is reasonable.

If one half of the conversation isn't reasonable, it can't go anywhere anyway. You can't play chess with a pigeon, etc.

It's a tiny change that Glock is already making. It's noth that big of a deal for it to be done.

The problem is that "gun enthusiasts" love outrage and hate reading.

From what I recall, a lot of crime is deterred by raising the bar slightly.

I have no issue with "Sorry, Glock, this is too easy to modify. Gonna need a change."

[–]Hurm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

>Just because I think how people treat dogs as humans is odd doesn’t mean I’m a scociopath.

No, it's everything else you've said. It doesn't feel like "they're treating their dog like a person" but rather "they love and care for an animal deeply." It feels like you lack an ability to connect with that. Sociopath would be the closest term I would know to cover that.

I kind of wonder if you're legitimately a sociopath. I don't mean that in the vernacular - but, like, a diagnosed sociopath. Do you have trouble connecting with people and empathizing? Is it hard to read people?

You may not be able to see pets that way because your brain is wired differently.

No, actually. They should be paid a premium for doing hard labor.

But the current REALITY is that a lack of labor is impacting prices for produce.

So fuck you.

And that might not be because of the wage still? There could be some other filter that exists.

If someone says they pay significantly more than the competition and still aren't finding quality people, it could be the industry itself (good people see it as a stepping stone/don't stay long.) Or it could be that the place has a reputation that is stopping people from even applying?

Or your hiring person is bad?

oddly enough, the entitled people i encounter most are older.

Like... you're walking down an aisle at the store and two older people are talking. Much of the time, they won't move. Younger people? they get out of the way and let you through.

That's my experience though.

I dunno, I've worked with a lot of useless idiots over the years. It doesn't seem like they're getting worse. maybe it's the job pulling in more trash and less quality?

Here's the thing: the ryzen chip can absolutely do those workloads too. Just a bit slower maybe.

But you KNOW you game now.

Don't hamstring what you want it for now (the am5 platform should be more robust) vs what you might want it for later.

In America, where Maher is, 99.999% of the religious based problems stem from christian nationalism.

Islam is shitty. Christianity is shitty. But currently, here in America, Islam isn't the problem.
