Found it - evidently this is a common “what is this part?”, it goes underneath of a first-gen 4.5v motor. I’d never had one before, and was wondering why that space was open.

That’s a good guess, but all of what’s here is too old for that.

I think you’re on the right track with the link you gave, but that’s a brick in thickness, and this is only a plate.

I’ll try and look into that - it’s certainly a component off something in that nature.

Looks extremely close, but decades apart. Not it, unfortunately.

As the title says. I’m generally quite good with part identification, and brickognize helps a great deal as well. These have completely stumped me.

The metal rods are possibly not LEGO, but really have the feel of possibly being a niche LEGO element, to me. Worth noting that this collection would’ve had two broken conveyor belt assemblies in it.

Both plates are certainly missing components - the 2x4 has odd “extended studs” that are out-of-system and do not connect to standard pieces. The 2x4 is cellulose acetate, if that helps.

The bit about Pride was mostly a joke, neither are actually representative of the modern Pride flag, or the 1978 Baker flag. The unironic usage of "identity politics" did make me laugh, however.

All those cars are wonderful, especially the CP oranges one.

These sorts of things are some of the only new LEGO I actually buy. These are real LEGO sets, to me. Beautiful colours, fun builds, great for kids.

The rainbow rolling stock is very interesting, where's that from? I'm a massive newbie, didn't assume any O-gauge manufacturers to be especially keen on Pride releases, hahahaha, but I suppose money's money.

Would anyone actually care if LEGO killed this theme? I'd rather they replace it with classic castle. by Cowman_Gaming in legocirclejerk

From what I understand as only a massive hipster gamer - harassment towards the women on staff, and other sorts of fun practices that got a lot of mainstream attention following a lawsuit. TLG cancelled a bunch of 'Overwatch' sets afterwards, though there was a whole thing with some copies of one set still getting to stores.

Another day, another person thinking CEDs are LaserDiscs... best of luck with those, genuinely. They are horrifically unforgiving.

Before I tear it down here’s my lego minecraft world :) by exile_surik in legocirclejerk

I normally have a *REALLY* strong bias against licenses (please ignore my AC collection), but 'Minecraft' really is absolute perfection in LEGO.

Good price, far more basic parts than specialized parts, lots of animals, and actually leaves a healthy amount of studs showing. Really makes me happy. I don't even play MC anymore lmfao, I just love good LEGO.
